What is NP5?

NP5 (UAB NP5, company code 301637711, VAT code LT100010062018) is a company in Šiauliai, Lithuania, that connects architectural design and engineering with light-gauge steel manufacturing. It supplies panelised homes, modular homes and LGS structures. The company grew out of NPS projektai, established in 2008, and has used the NP5 name since 2018. Read more about NP5.

What is LGS (LPPK)?

LGS stands for light-gauge steel; in Lithuanian it is called LPPK, short for “lengvo plonasienio plieno konstrukcijos”. It means cold-formed, thin-walled steel profiles assembled into structural frames. Light-gauge steel framing can serve walls, partitions, roof trusses, floor structures and hybrid applications, as specified for the project. See LGS building systems.

What are prefabricated homes?

Prefabricated homes (in Lithuanian, surenkami namai) are made from parts prepared in a factory and assembled on site. NP5 offers two kinds: panelised homes, built from wall and roof elements, and modular homes, built from volumetric modules.

How do panelised, modular and LGS supply differ?

Panelised: factory-made wall and roof elements are assembled on site on a prepared reinforced-concrete slab. Modular: factory-produced volumetric modules, with floor, roof and interior work as agreed in the contract; transport and site access are reviewed for each project. LGS structures: project-specific light-gauge steel structures, infill and hybrid applications, with the scope agreed individually.

Which house models does NP5 offer?

Can I build my own design with NP5?

Yes. You can start with an NP5 house concept or bring your own architectural drawings. Before production, NP5 agrees the supply package, delivery and responsibilities with you. See the page for developers, architects and contractors.

What does NP5 supply?

NP5 can design and manufacture light-gauge steel framing and factory-prepared panels for agreed wall, roof and intermediate-floor applications, and also supplies modular buildings. The package, interfaces and assembly responsibilities are confirmed in the quotation and technical documentation. Foundations, floors, roof covering, building services and interior finishes are not part of the standard panel supply package.

What thermal, fire and sound performance figures does NP5 publish?

Performance belongs to the complete wall or roof assembly and is confirmed for each project; these are the figures already published. Thermal: uniPIR insulation boards (polyisocyanurate core, aluminium foil facing) have a thermal conductivity, lambda D (LST EN 12667), of 0.022 W/(m·K) or less, and the 80 m² house specifications on NP5.lt list 160 mm PIR-AL wall and roof panel insulation with U = 0.22 W/(m²·K). Fire: the architect catalogue references a Siniat C100 wall assembly with an REI 60 fire-resistance classification (GRYFITLAB LBO-030-KZ/24E); it applies only to that construction and its conditions, not to every NP5 panel. Sound: no single figure is published, because acoustic performance comes from the complete layered assembly and its junctions, so the target is agreed for each building. What certificates does NP5 publish?

NP5 publishes four certificates, issued to NP5 Constructions UAB, a company of the NP5 group. Factory production control certificate 1397-CPR-0740, first issued on 1 July 2022 by SPSC (notified body 1397), covers cold-formed structural steel components made at Kreivoji St. 7 in Šiauliai, to EN 1090-1 and execution class EXC2 (EN 1090-4); it has no end date and its status is published at spsc.lt. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, issued by UAB Isolita on 11 April 2025 and valid until 11 April 2028, cover design and general construction works (special structures). Each certificate covers only its stated scope; it is not a rating of a house or panel, and whether it applies to your project is confirmed in the project documents. Where can I see NP5's completed projects?

Can I choose finishes and options?

Yes. House pages include a configurator for preferences such as facade, wall build-up, roof, openings and interior scope, where the model allows them. Selections record your preferences for a project discussion; feasibility, scope and price are confirmed individually.

How is the price of an NP5 building decided?

The price depends on the model, specification, supply scope and delivery location, so NP5 confirms it for each project. A price shown in a configurator covers only the package it names, not a whole-house quotation.

How long does production take, and how is delivery arranged?

Production takes from 2 to 6 months, depending on the season. Delivery is coordinated separately and depends on the location and the chosen building method. Ask NP5 for the current production time and the delivery arrangements for your project through the contact page.

What warranty does NP5 give?

Warranties are provided in line with the applicable requirements and are not shorter than 2 years.

How many houses can NP5 make per year?

NP5's production capacity is 50 houses per year. Ask NP5 about availability for your project through the contact page.

Where is NP5 based and where does it manufacture?

NP5 is based at Kreivoji St. 7 in Šiauliai, Lithuania, where it connects architectural design and engineering with light-gauge steel manufacturing. Its products are designed and manufactured in Lithuania.
